00:09 大家記得回中國旅行時,在黄山或盧山或泰山等地方,有些道士八九十歲
走路上山還比你們快,甚至可以跑上山。
00:09 Had you visited Lushan or Taishan in China, you would have seen some Daoist
monks, who are 80 or 90 year-old. They walk faster than you folks, even they can run
up the mountain.
00:22 你們有些人可能見過,連年輕人也不及他們快,走上山健步如飛。
00:22 Some of you folks may have seen them. They run up the mountain quickly. The
speed may be faster than the youngsters’.

巫師或道教也好。

from everywhere, no matter they are Daoist monks or wizards.

01:07 Today, what I want to share is the Daoist way of foot bath. You folks can teach
the older generations in your home.
01:18 用一個木盆浸腳。第一泡 : 熱水,以忍得到為主,水到脚眼就停,不要過
脚眼,是第一泡。
01:18 What you need is a wooden basin. In the first round, you do it with hot water,
the temperature of which should be the maximum you can bear. The water level
should be at your toes. Don’t be higher your toes.
01:34 第一泡泡了一段時間之後當水涼了,再加水,加水至剛過足三里便要停,
即是膝蓋對下少許,水一定要到這個位置。
01:34 Once the water gets cold, you refill the hot water in the basin. In this round, the
water level should slight higher than the Leg Three Miles acupuncture points of your
legs, where are the level just below your knees. This water level is a must.
01:51 這第二泡(到足三里位)就要泡到出汗,譬如一邊看電視一邊泡,直至泡到
出汗才可視為有效。
01:51 This round of foot bath, which the water level is at Leg Three Miles points,
should be done until you get sweaty. You may do it while you are watching TV.
Getting sweaty is a sign to show that is effective.
02:06 我本人自用的是一個高身木桶,我刻意地去買一個很高的木桶,還附有恆
温器,能溢出蒸氣和熱水,我就是這樣用的。
02: 06 For my own, I use a tall wooden basin instead. I intend to buy a tall wooden
basin, even with a thermometer and with a function to pour out stream and hot water.
That is my way of practice.

blocked veins, I am afraid that they may feel dizzy or other problems.

所以這方法是很好用的。
02: 45 Soong May-ling could live until about a hundred year-old, the main reason is
she did the foot bath in this way every night. So I think that is a good practice.
02:58 如果還有時間,除了拍腳之外,還可以拍手。這個不是本人的功夫,但我
將這兩種功夫夾起來是有效的。
02:58 If you have time, you may not only do the clapping feet exercise, but also
clapping hands (唔係甩手?) exercise. Although clapping hands exercise is not my
invented by me, yet I think it is very effective once those two exercises combine to
practice together.
03:10 上台灣網有一個甩手功,很好用的,是平放的,在第五下時, 雙膝微微下
蹲一下。網友可自行上網找得到。這個拍手功配合我的拍腳功是非常有效,大
家不妨可以用。
There is a swinging arms exercise in a Taiwan website. It is very effective as well. It
tells us that we swing our arms together; we need to slightly crouch once when we
swing them every fifth time. You folks can search it on the internet yourself. It is very
effective when two exercises combine together. I recommend it to you folks.

一浸不要超過腳眼,第二浸到足三里高少許便要停,不可超過。
